Tuesday (8/10/10): Showers and Storms for Northern New England due to a shortwave from a weak area of Low Pressure over New York early in the morning as shown from the GFS Model then clearing with highs in the low to mid 80s with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Tuesday Night chance of a thunderstorm with lows in the 60s. Winds looking to be out of WNW around 5-10 mph.
Wednesday (8/11/10): After comparing the GFS SfcT models and the ECMWF SL Models New England is in for a nice calm day today with highs in the mid 80s due to a High Pressure system in place in the area. Winds looking around 5-15 mph. Relative Humidity looking to be around 60 based off the 850-500 mb map which is comfortable weather with clear to partly cloudy skies.
Thursday (8/12/10): Let the enjoyable weather begin and can anyone say BEACH DAY?! Looking at the GFS model we are looking at clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the day with temperatures in the mid 70s, due to a Canadian High Pressure system still dominant in the area which is what is the cause of the cool temperatures. Winds are looking to be 5-10 mph.
Friday (8/13/10): Highs looking to be in the high 70s with clear to partly cloudy skies for most of New England due to Relative Humidty in the 40s for most of New England based off the 850-500 mb map with some spots of mostly cloudy skies at points throughout the day. Winds will be out of the SSE around 5-15 mph. After revewing the data from the WRF Model I will say a chance of a shower throughout the day.
Saturday (8/14/10): Partly Cloudy skies for New England on Saturday looking at the Relative Humidity from 850-500 mb maps with the Relative Humidity in the 50s-70s based off the 850-500 mb map. High Temperatures looking to hover around the 80 degree mark throughout New England with winds primarily coming out of the south with winds around 5-15 mph.
Sunday (8/15/10): Chance of a shower throughout the day with Mostly Cloudy to Overcast Skies with Relative Humidity Values Climb into the 80s-mid 90s throughout most to New England based off the 850-500 mb map so prepare for the humidity to return. High Temps in the low to mid 80s with winds predominatly out of the South around 5-15mph
Monday (8/16/10): Chance of thunderstorms all day. Warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s for most of New Engalnd. Winds S at 10-15 mph.
