High pressure will build in through this evening until a coastal low pressure system will take its place tomorrow. Cloudy skies and some wintry precipitation will remain over Charlottesville until high pressure returns on Sunday.
Tonight- Clear skies becoming overcast, with northerly winds shifting to the northeast at 3-7 mph. Temperatures dropping into the upper 20s, with a low of 27.
Tomorrow- Cloudy skies, with northeasterly winds becoming southeasterly at 1-4 mph. Temperatures rising to the upper 30s, with a high of 37. 50% chance of a wintry mix of precipitation, with snow, sleet, and freezing rain turning to snow, sleet, and rain around noon. New accumulations less than half an inch possible.
Tomorrow Night- Overcast skies, with light and variable winds. Temperatures only falling a few degrees to the lower 30s, with a low of 32. 70% chance of precipitation, with less than a tenth of an inch expected of snow, freezing rain, and sleet transitioning into rain and freezing rain.
