Cloudy with a Chance of More Rain
A warm front pass through the area today as it journeys northward. The remaining low pressure system from Isaac will move eastward into the northeast region through Wednesday. This combined with the precipitation preceding an expected cold front passing through on late Thursday will bring showers and thunderstorms to our area for most of the week. A high pressure system building behind the cold front will briefly move through Charlottesville for Friday, allowing for sunny skies and warm temperatures.
Tonight- Cloudy skies with showers and a possible thunderstorm likely. Southwest wind between 5-10 mph. Temperatures barely sink into the low 70's. Low 70. Chance of precipitation 60%.
Tomorrow- Cloudy skies with showers and an afternoon thunderstorm likely. Southwest wind continues around 5 mph. Temperatures rise into the lower 80's. High 84. Chance of precipitation 70%.
Tomorrow Night- Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers tapering off through the night. West wind around 5 mph. Temperatures fall into the upper 60's. Low 67. Chance of precipitation 30%.
Thursday- Partly sunny with a lingering chance of showers. Light wind becoming south around 5 mph. Temperatures jump into the upper 80's. High 89. Chance of precipitation 30%.
