Rainy Trend for the Week
A stationary front will remain over most of Central Virginia today and begin to move up north as a warm front on Tuesday. The remnants of Isaac will continue to move towards us bringing some additional rain to the area. An upper level trough will cause us to experience several days of precipitation until a cold front crosses the region late Thursday. We may only have a small break in the wet weather on Friday as another upper level trough approaches the area Saturday.
Tonight- Showers and thunderstorms likely throughout the day with a light southeast wind around 5 mph. Temperatures fall into the upper 60's. Low 69. Chance of precipitation 80%.
Tomorrow- Mostly cloudy with showers and a possible thunderstorm likely. Southerly wind between 5-10 mph. Temperatures reach the lower 80's. High 84. Chance of precipitation 70%.
Tomorrow Night- Cloudy skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Calm southwest wind around 5 mph. Temperatures drop into the low 70's. Low 70. Chance of precipitation 50%.
Wednesday- Mostly cloudy skies with afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible. Southwest wind continues between 5-10 mph. Temperatures rise into the mid 80's. High 85. Chance of precipitation 60%.
Wednesday Night- Mostly cloudy with a decreasing chance of showers and thunderstorms. Calm south wind becoming west. Temperatures drop into the upper 60's. Low 68. Chance of precipitation 30%.
Thursday- Partly sunny skies with a light and variable wind. Temperatures reach the upper 80's. High 88.
