A weak cold front will stall in central Virginia today, but tomorrow, it will begin to push northward. The remnants of Tropical Depression Isaac will interact with this frontal boundary to produce unsettled conditions until the middle of the week. We will face showers and thunderstorms for most of the week until a closely following front pushes this moisture to the east. We can expect to see drier conditions around Friday as high pressure returns to our area.
Tonight- Cloudy skies with showers and a possible thunderstorm likely. Light and variable wind. Temperatures drop into the upper 60's. Low 68. Chance of precipitation 70%.
Tomorrow- More showers and thunderstorms are to be expected throughout the day. Calm southeast wind around 5 mph. Temperatures reach the lower 80's. High 83. Chance of precipitaiton 70%.
Tomorrow Night- Cloudy with yet another chance of showers and thunderstorms. Southeast wind between 5-10 mph. Temperatures fall into the lower 70's. Low 70. Chance of precipitation 60%.
Tuesday- Cloudy skies with a chance of showers and afternoon thunderstorms. Southerly wind between 5-10 mph. Temperatures rise into the lower 80's. Low 84. Chance of precipitation 60%.
Tuesday Night- Mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. South wind continues between 5-10 mph. Temperatures sink into the upper 60's to lower 70's. Low 69. Chance of precipitation 50%.
Wednesday- Mostly cloudy with a continuing chance of showers and thunderstorms. Light southerly wind. Temperatures climb into the upper 80's. High 87. Chance of precipitation 50%.
