Great Weather for a Great Game!
A high pressure system will shift to the south today and in its place, a weak cold front will begin to stall out over the weekend. Expect hotter temperatures today relative to the week. On Saturday, thunderstorms should hold off at least during the football game, but the projected path of Tropical Depression Isaac seems to be coming for Charlottesville. The remnants of Isaac may interact with cold front boundary, creating unstable conditions during the latter part of the weekend and early next week. This will call for a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the next few days.
Tonight- Mostly clear skies with a west wind between 5-10 mph. Temperatures drop into the lower 70's. Low 71.
Tomorrow- Partly sunny skies with a chance of showers in the later afternoon. Northwest wind between 5-10 mph. Temperatures rise into the upper 80's. High 89. Chance of precipitation 30%.
Tomorrow Night- Mostly cloudy skies with a continuing chance of showers and thunderstorms. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Temperatures sink into the upper 60's. Low 68. Chance of precipitation 30%.
